How
long will it take you to complete my project?
This depends upon the type of services you require and the
complexity of the project. Wedding videos typically require
2-4 months to complete, depending on the season. Video montages
can often be created within 1-2 weeks. MPEG encoding is usually
done within 2-3 business days of having received your source
videos. For other projects, such as Web site development, completion
time is heavily dependent upon the complexity of your needs
and how quickly you can provide us with all of the required
source information.
For
video montages, can I provide you with photos that I have scanned
in myself or ones which I've taken with my digital camera?
Yes, as long as they are in JPEG format at 200 or 300 dpi.
For each JPEG file that you provide to us and which we use in
your album or montage, we will reduce the price of your project
by $1.
Who
owns the copyrights to my finished wedding video?
Moments in Motion retains the copyright to all videos that
we create. However, unlike many other wedding videographers,
we permit you to make as many additional copies as you like
from the videos that you purchase. Just be aware that the quality
will be much lower than copies made from our master version.
For
videography services, do you charge for travel?
We do not charge for travel if your event is within a 45 minute
drive of the Raleigh, NC area. However, events occurring further
away will incur some additional fees for travel expenses and
our time.
What
are your payment terms for wedding and special event videography?
A nonrefundable deposit of 25% of your final balance is required
to hold a reservation for taping a wedding or special event.
50% of the remaining balance must be paid two weeks prior to
the day of the special event. The remainder is due in full upon
delivery of your video.
What
are your payment terms for other services, such as video montages,
Web photo albums and Web site design?
Upon signing a services contract with Moments in Motion, a
deposit of 50% is required. The balance is then due upon the
completion of your project.
